In his nearly five decades in the music business, Steve Tyrell has achieved success as a singer, producer, musical supervisor, and most recently, radio host.
His breakthrough performances in Father of the Bride and Father of the Bride II helped Tyrell reinvent and re-popularize classic pop standards for a modern-day audience.
As an artist, all 10 of his American Standards albums have achieved Top 5 status on Billboard’s Jazz charts, with his latest, “A Song for You”, reaching #1!
Steve has had the pleasure of singing for 3 out of the last 4 Presidents, and for Heads of State, including Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu, President Santos of Columbia, and Archbishop Desmond Tutu as well as The Prince of at Buckingham Palace.
His work in the studio as a record producer has included collaborations with such diverse and legendary artists as Rod Stewart, Diana Ross, Ray Charles, and Linda Ronstadt, and most recently with Tony and Emmy Award winner Kristin Chenoweth.
This December, Steve will once again ring in the holidays at the legendary Café Carlyle for the 14th consecutive year.
