In over five decades in the music business, Steve Tyrell has achieved success as a singer, producer, musical supervisor, and most recently, radio host. For his work he has earned a GRAMMY, a day-time Emmy, and an ACE Award. His breakthrough performances in Father of the Bride and Father of the Bride II helped Tyrell reinvent and re-popularize classic pop standards for a modern-day audience.

As an artist, all 12 of his American Standards albums have achieved Top 5 status on Billboard’s Jazz charts, with his latest 2019 release, “A Song for You”, reaching #1! His upcoming release, “Shades of Ray”, is a tribute to his hero the late great Ray Charles, and will be out September 24th, 2021. Steve has had the pleasure of singing for three US Presidents, and for four Heads of State, including Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu, President Santos of Columbia, and Archbishop Desmond Tutus well as The Prince of Wales at Buckingham Palace.

His work in the studio as a record producer has included collaborations with such diverse and legendary artists as Rod Stewart, Diana Ross, Ray Charles, and Linda Rondstat, and most recently with Tony and Emmy Award winner Kristin Chenoweth. Steve’s holiday performances at the famed Café Carlyle have become a New York tradition not only for locals but for fans from all around the globe for over 16 consecutive years.
